Resource Manager Data Collection Procedures

The original Resource Manager was known as Disk Array Management Program (DAMP). Later versions are called Storage Navigator Modular (SNM). There is a GUI and CLI version of each program.

If an error message is displayed when an error occurs in the operation of Resource Manager, note the message and take the recovery action defined by the message.

If you are unable to fix the problem, please collect the log files, zip them up and transfer them to TUF.

The log files for the GUI are located here if you did a default installation:

• C:\Program Files\Storage Navigator Modular GUI\log

The log files for the CLI are located here if you did a default installation:

• C:\Program Files\Storage Navigator Modular CLI\log

Please zip up all the files in the appropriate log directory and upload the zip file to TUF.

Also, please let us know which version of DAMP/SNM you are using.

• In the GUI, use Help > Version
• In the CLI, use the command: auman -help
