Top Troubleshooting Questions
- Please describe, in as much detail as possible, the error or issue that you are facing specifically with your Linux Operating System.
- Is it a Storage related issue? Or software related?
- If Storage related, when did the incident occur?
- Please provide the time the incident occurred and the current time and date on your host, as well as the subsystem time and date, if able.
- If Storage related, when did the incident occur?
- If Software related, what version and software make is having the issue? What issue are you faced with? (e.g., install, configuration, changes, etc.)
- Can you provide a network diagram detailing the paths from the affected host(s) to the storage system?
- Was it a specific host that had an issue or many?
- If so what to what port(s) on the array is the host attached?
- What host group on the array port is assigned to the affected host(s)?
- Was it a specific host that had an issue or many?
- If host related, has the OS and/or multipathing vendors been engaged? Please provide us with ticket information and case updates when available.
