Dynamic Link Manager Support Questions

Expedite the troubleshooting process for the most common issues by reviewing and answering the following questions for your product. 

General Troubleshooting Questions

Please adjust the questions based on the issue and do not use if it is not applicable to customer's issue/environment.

  1. What is the HDLM version?
  2. Are Path or LUN errors?
  3. Is HDLM Driver running (dlnkmgr view -sys)?
  4. What are the error message and the error code?
  5. Please provide timeline of the error. If this is a failed task, please take a screenshot of the failed task item including its start and end time, and the URL/address bar if web based.
  6. Is this issue still on going?
  7. Is this a new configuration or existing configuration?
  8. Please provide the steps that you went through to produce the error.
  9. Have you tried any troubleshooting?
  10. What is the documentation that you refer to accomplish the task. Provide the link or Document number (MK#) with the Chapter/Section/Page Number. 
  11. What is the Host o/s ver and patch levels?
  12. Has there been any recent changes to the environment such as OS upgrade, migration, Software upgrade, Microcode Upgrade?
  13. Have you observed network issue within the environment?
