How to Download Logs on D51B and T41S Quanta Servers

Objective

Provide instructions on how to download the system event logs (SEL) from Quanta servers.

Environment

  • D51B-2U
  • T41S-2U

Procedure

  1. Open a web browser and enter the baseboard management controller (BMC) IP address.
    • BMC’s default IP 192.168.0.120
  2. Enter username and password
    • Default access credentials are admin/admin
  3. Go to Server Health > Event Logs
  4. The first page shown is the Server Event Log (SEL)
  5. Select the Text radio button then click on Download Event Logs

 

Additional Notes
