How to Collect Logs for Advance Server DS7000 from the SHC

Objective

  • To collect the logs for an Advanced Server DS7000 from the Server Hardware Console (SHC)

Environment

  • Hitachi Advanced Server DS7000 Family (DS7020, DS7040, DS7080, DS7160)

Procedure

  1. Login to the System Hardware Console (SHC) using the IP address of the BMC for the master server module and the appropriate credentials

  2. Once logged in, click on the Maintenance tab, then select Log Collect at the bottom of the left pane002_Maintenance_Log_Colect.png
  3. Click on the Get Logs button and wait until the logs are ready for download
