After upgrading Ops Center Analyzer with version 10.8.0-04 the version is still showing 10.8.0-01.

Symptom

Although upgrade of Ops Center Analyzer and Detail View components to version 10.8.0-04 were showing as successful, the version still shows as 10.8.0-01.

Environment

Ops Center Analyzer version 10.8.0-04.

Resolution

This is expected.

When upgrading Analyzer Product (HIAA and HDCA) with the 10.8.0-04 the software will still reflect as 10.8.0-01.

You can verify by checking the rpms.

 

Before upgrading with 10.8.0-04 …

[root@opsvm2 Analytics10]# rpm -qa | grep hdca

hdca-server-10.8.0-00_21100920.x86_64           <-- this reflects version 10.8.0-01

[root@opsvm2 Analytics10]# rpm -qa | grep hiaa

hiaa-10.80.01-0.x86_64

 

After upgrading with 10.8.0-04 …

[root@opsvm2 Analytics10]# rpm -qa | grep hdca

hdca-server-10.8.0-01_21121613.x86_64           <-- this reflects version 10.8.0-04

[root@opsvm2 Analytics10]# rpm -qa | grep hiaa

hiaa-10.80.01-0.x86_64

 

Cause

The Analyzer version 10.8.0-04 is a special version release to accommodate the mitigation of log4j1 vulnerabilities.
