First-time system setup

After the system is deployed, the first-time setup wizard appears in the Administration App. All options in the wizard are optional, but you should at a minimum set the system hostname. This ensures that links in the Administration App work correctly.

To complete the first-time setup wizard:

1.On the Welcome step, click on the Next button.

2.On the License Information step, do one of these:

oIf you've purchased a license, use the system ID number displayed on this page to retrieve the license. For information on doing that, see your sales representative.

After retrieving the license file, upload it to the License Information page.

oIf you haven't purchased a license or want to use the system until you obtain your purchased license, verify that a trial license is installed. This allows you to use your system for a limited amount of time.

3.On the Configure Security step:

oIn the System Hostname field, specify the hostname for your system.

oOptionally, configure the other security settings. For more information, see Setting a welcome message and Setting the session timeout limit .

4.Optionally, on the Import Package step, you can import a package if you had previously created one on another system. For more information, see Packages.

5.On the Setup Complete page, click on the Finish button.

Your system is ready to use.
