System Management with SVP
If your storage is configured with Service Processor (SVP), which can be either a physical or virtual management appliance, use the information provided in this guide for installing and maintaining SVP as well as configuring the storage system using Device Manager - Storage Navigator.
You can also manage your storage without SVP. The storage system provides the embedded management interfaces to allow you to manage without the complexity and overhead associated with SVP. To use these embedded interfaces to configure and manage your storage systems, see System management using the embedded interfaces.
