- For Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform E series storage systems, the basic network and system settings configured during the initial setup can be modified using the maintenance utility. This embedded graphical user interface can be launched from any supported storage management software in use. For a storage system configuration that includes an SVP, more robust system administration features are enabled through the Device Manager - Storage Navigator software. This guide provides all the information you need to manage your storage system settings using Device Manager - Storage Navigator. Find the SVP documentation here: Service Processor (SVP)
