Get registry file
Downloads a copy of the system configuration registry file.
NoteThis API call is different from most others, in that on success, it returns a binary download, rather than JSON formatted output. JSON formatted errors are returned in the same way as other API calls.
HTTP request syntax (URI)
GET <base_URI>/v8/storage/file-devices/registry
Return codes
| Code | Data | Description |
| 200 | Registry attachment | Registry file retrieved successfully. |
| 500 | Error message | Error associated with the storage system. |
Any HTTP status code other than 200 indicates that the API did not complete successfully.
Request example: Download the registry file and save it as "reg.tgz"
