Use the following guidelines and suggested steps to help resolve log file generation issues.
The generated log files consume too much hard disk space.
What it means:
The default values for
maximumFileSize in the configuration file are set too high for your environment. You can modify these values, as well as the log level value.
On the UCP Advisor controller VM, use a text editor to open the
C:\Program Files\Hitachi\UCP Advisor\HivSphereConverged\UCP Services\hilogger.config
Find the following lines and modify the values to ones suitable to your environment:
<maxSizeRollBackups value="100" /> <maximumFileSize value="20MB" /> <level value="INFO" />
Save the file.
From the Service Manager, restart the UCP Advisor service.
