Refining search results

You might be able to refine your search results based on one or more categories of information. For example, you can refine a list of search results to only show files that were created within the last month. The index you're searching determines whether you can refine search results.


  1. After performing a search, click Refine.

  2. Click Add Field and select a field. The fields you selected are added after the search bar.

  3. Click one of the fields and select a value that you want to use to refine search results.

    The values you can pick depend on the type of information each field contains. For example, for a data field, you can pick a single date or a range of dates.
