Setting the system hostname

After installing your system, you need to configure it with the hostname that you've assigned to it in your corporate DNS environment.

Setting the system hostname is required for these links in the Admin App to function properly:

  • The link to the Search App.
  • The link to the Monitor App.
  • The Advanced Services links.
Admin App instructions


  1. Click the Configuration window.

  2. Click Security.

  3. On the Settings tab, specify the hostname in the Cluster Hostname field.

  4. Click Update.
