Deleting a Solr alias
When you delete a Solr alias from your system, the index collections associated with it will remain untouched. The search index that the alias represented, however, will be deleted.
To delete a Solr alias:
Procedure
Click the Solr Aliases panel.
Click the delete icon for the alias you want to remove.
