Creating data connections
When you create a data connection, you specify certain information about the data source to which the data connection grants the system access. The information you specify differs depending on the type of system that you are connecting to.
If your system does not have a data connection for another system that you need to connect to, you can use the software development kit (SDK) to write your own data connection plugin.
Procedure
Click the Data Connections window.
Click Add Data Connection.
In the Type field, select the type of system you want to connect to.
Configure the connector. The configuration options differ depending on the type you selected.
Click Create.
