EU Data Act (EUDA)
In accordance with Article 3(2) of Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (Data Act), Hitachi Vantara LLC and its Affiliates (“Company”) hereby provide the prospective user of a connected product(s) (“Customer”) with the following information. “Affiliate” means any Hitachi Vantara LLC group company that is directly or indirectly controlled by Hitachi Vantara LLC.

| The type, format and estimated volume of product data | Generated product data is primarily operational in nature and may include: text-based log files, json, xml, and internal metadata formats. Servers & tiered storage in the solution generate operational data to monitor server health metrics like disk failures, temperature, fan speed, backup data sources and backup storage targets, as well as information about individual backup jobs such as success or failure, time taken, or amount of data backed up. |
