General Troubleshooting Questions
- What is the Fibre Channel Over Ethernet FCoE target and FCoE source?
- Can you please provide a diagram of the path between the FCoE source and target?
- If the problem is throughput, can you please let us know what you are expecting versus what you are observing?
- If the problem is connectivity, such as the FCoE source cannot see the FCoE target, have you verified that both the FCoE source and target are logged in to their respective switch ports?
- Can you please provide the logs for the switches that both the FCoE source and FCoE target are connected to?
- Does the reported problem always occur or is it transient, meaning it only shows up periodically?
