HDPS Data Collection

  • In the left-hand pane of the CommCell Browser, right-click on the root of the navigation tree.
  • From the context menu that pops up, Select All Tasks > Send Log Files.
  • In the Send Log Files menu, specify which logs to collect (either by Computer/Client, or by Job ID (if specifically instructed)).
  • Select the "Save to Directory" radio button and specify a location where the log files may be saved.

 

Location of HDPS Log Files

On the CommServe, MediaAgent, and Client machines, the log files are located in the following directories:

Windows CommServe, MediaAgent and Client machines

x:\Program Files\Hitachi\Backup and Recovery\Log Files

Unix/Linux Client machines

/var/logs

CXone Metadata
