Objective

Download the System Event Logs (SEL) from Quanta servers.

Environment

• Quanta D51B-2U
• Quanta T41S-2U

Procedure

1. Open a web browser and enter the baseboard management controller (BMC) IP address.
   • BMC’s default IP 192.168.0.120
2. Enter username and password
   • Default access credentials are admin/admin
3. Go to Server Health > Event Logs.
4. The first page shown is the Server Event Log (SEL).
5. Select the Text radio button, then click on Download Event Logs.

Additional Notes

If the BMC SEL logs cannot be collected, check the status of the hardware, refer to the following solution for information on how to check physically the status of the hardware:
