PPRC, XRC and FlashCopy Data Collection
The following GTF parameters can be used to collect the data needed to analyze PPRC, XRC and FlashCopy commands. To trace only these commands, use an MVS Host that does not have application IO to the devices to enter the commands. This will keep the trace to a minimum.
TRACE=CCWP,SSCHP,IOP,HSCH,CSCH,MSCH,PCI
IO=SSCH=(xxxx, . . . ,yyyy)
CCW=(SI,DATA=256,CCWN=2000),END
Where xxxx, . . .,yyyy are the devices that are being traced. A range of devices can also be specified, e.g. vvvv-wwww.
