HDvM Agent Logs

Hitachi Device Manager (HDvM) agent includes support for Hitachi Provisioning Manager (HPvM).

For Hitachi Device Manager (HDvM) issues, execute the TIC command.

Manual Data Collection

Windows

\agent\bin\TIC.bat [-outdir resultDir-directory [-f]]
or
\HBaseAgent\bin\TIC.bat [-outdir resultDir-directory [-f]]

Solaris, HP-UX, or Linux

# /opt/HDVM/agent/bin/TIC.sh [-outdir resultDir-directory [-f]]
or
# /opt/HDVM/HBaseAgent/bin/TIC.sh [-outdir resultDir-directory [-f]]

AIX

# /usr/HDVM/agent/bin/TIC.sh [-outdir resultDir-directory [-f]]
or
# /usr/HDVM/HBaseAgent/bin/TIC.sh [-outdir resultDir-directory [-f]]

Arguments

-outdir resultDir-directory

Specifies the location of the resultDir directory for storing the acquired error information.

Note: If you do not specify this argument, the resultDir directory is created in the directory that contains the TIC command.

-f

When this argument is specified, and another resultDir directory already exists in the location specified in -outdir, the TIC command deletes the existing directory without displaying a confirmation message.
