Add a file system group quota
Adds a group quota to a filesystem.
This API call has changed in version 8.
HTTP request syntax (URI)
POST <base_URI>/v8/storage/filesystems/{filesystemId}/quotas/group
Parameters
| Name | Type | Required | Values | Description |
| filesystemId | URI_PARAM | Y | string | Either the file system object ID or HNAS file system ID. |
| diskUsageThreshold | BODY | Y | object | quotaThresholdPercentages object specifying the disk space limits of the quota. |
| fileCountThreshold | BODY | Y | object | quotaThresholdPercentages object specifying the file count limits of the quota. |
| logEvent | BODY | Y | boolean | Indicates whether to log quota related events. |
| groupId | BODY | Y | string | Group ID to be confined by the quota. |
Return codes
| Code | Data | Description |
| 201 | quota | Group quota successfully added. |
| 400 | Error Message | Missing or invalid request contents. |
| 404 | Error Message | Requested resource not found. |
| 500 | Error message | Error associated with the storage system. |
Any HTTP status code other than 201 indicates that the API did not complete successfully.
