About the Advanced Setting panel
The
page is used for enabling network creation, configuring network versions for your nodes, and enabling the management network if the system is configured for the management network.Enabling IPv4 and IPv6 addresses
IPv4 addresses are automatically permitted on all nodes in your networks.
You can permit IPv6 addresses on all nodes in your networks.
Procedure
On the
page, select Enable IPv6.
Enabling and configuring the management network
Allowing management network configuration lets users with the system administrator role to segregate system management traffic to the [hcp_management] network.
Procedure
On the Allow Management Network Configuration.
page, selectNoteIf the Allow Management Network Configuration is visible but grayed out on the Advanced Settings page, it means that [hcp_management] network is enabled. If you want to disable Allow Management Network Configuration, you first need to set the [hcp_management] Network status to disable.
Click Update Settings.
On the
page, confirm that the [hcp_management] network is listed.Click the [hcp_management] network, then click the IP Configuration tab.
Assign the management network IP, gateway, netmask, and subnet information.
Make sure the subnet is different from your front-end and back-end networks.
Click the Settings tab.
For Network status, select Enable.
Click Update Settings.
