Notes on executing processing of Set Online or Set Offline for the paths of HDLM for VMware:

From HGLM version 8.1.4 or later, if you concurrently execute Set Online or Set Offline for the paths of multiple ESXi hosts that are managed by a single remote management client (version 8.1.4 or later), CPU usage may increase depending on the specifications of the machine on which the remote management client is installed. To prevent this, for the value of the server.thread.max_size property in the server.properties file, specify a value that is smaller than the number of ESXi host machines for which processing of Set Online or Set Offline was executed concurrently. See the following manual to edit the server.properties file:
Hitachi Command Suite Global Link Manager Installation and Configuration Guide Section 3.5 Changing Global Link Manager Environment Settings - Changing Global Link Manager Server Settings

Notes on managing HDLM 8.2.0:

If you want to use HGLM 8.2.0 or later to manage HDLM 8.2.0, install HDLM 8.2.0-01 or later.

The following problems were corrected in HDLM 8.2.0-01.

If you install HGLM on a remote management client where HDLM for VMware 8.2.0-00 is installed or on a host where HDLM for Windows 8.2.0-00 is installed, SNMP traps will not be received by an HGLM instance on the same host.
If HDLM 8.2.0-00 is installed on an AIX, Linux, or Solaris host and the IP address that
corresponds to the host name of the local host cannot be acquired, SNMP traps will not be  sent to HGLM.

·         Before starting Automation Director in a cluster environment, complete the following:

In the cluster management software, right-click to select theresource script and set its
dependence on the [property]-[Dependencies] tab.
In addition, specify [HAutomation Engine HCSclustergroup-name] to the resources that must be broughtonline before bringing the script online.

·         Notes on using HGLM to manage HDLM for VMware hosts:

To remove HDLM for VMware hosts from HGLM management, do so when the hosts are
connected.
If you plan to uninstall HGLM, first remove the HDLM for VMware hosts from HGLM management when the hosts are connected, and then proceed to uninstall HGLM.
