Fixed Issues
The following list describes the issue that was resolved in this release.

Known SDK Limitations
The following list describes the limitations of the Milestone XProtect SDK.
Summary | Description | Workaround |
---|---|---|
Deleted cameras are shown as Inactive in Visualization Suite |
If cameras were deleted from VMS after the connector had been configured and started in Visualization Suite, they are still shown as inactive in Visualization Suite.
|
Restarting the connector should remove the deleted cameras from Visualization Suite. |
Renaming offline cameras in VMS does not take effect in Visualization Suite |
If you rename cameras in VMS while the cameras are offline, the changes are not reflected in Visualization Suite. |
Not available |
A camera without the network connectivity is shown as active in Visualization Suite. |
As long as the camera is enabled in VMS, Visualization Suite shows it as active. However, streaming will fail as the connection has failed. |
Fix the camera connectivity in VMS or remove the camera from VMS. |
Known Problems

The playback may show latency
|
When you start playback, the video may start with a delay of about 20 seconds. This is because of the known delay to transcode the video. The connector starts to process frames with the correct timestamp, but first 20 seconds are lost due to the delay. |
Playback from 30 seconds prior to where you want to playback. For example, if you want to playback from 1:00:00, playback from 12:59:30.
