Password reset

You may need to reset your user account password for following reasons:
  • User account was created.
  • User account was expired.
  • User account was locked.
  • Forgot user account credential.

Perform the following steps reset your password.

Procedure

  1. Click Forgot your credential? in the Hitachi Visualization Suite login window.

  2. Enter in your email address (account username).

  3. Click Recover as shown in the following example:

  4. Check your email, you should receive an email with "Hitachi Visualization Suite Manage account" as the subject

    NoteIf you do not receive the confirmation message within a few minutes of submission, please check your Junk E-mail folder just in case the confirmation email was delivered to that folder instead of your inbox. If so, select the confirmation message and click Not Junk, which will allow future messages to get through to your inbox.

  5. Click on the Reset Passord link or copy the link and paste it into your choice of browser.

    NoteThe reset password process will automatically expire after a period of time. Default time is 5 minutes.

  6. Update your password.

  7. Enter in your New Password, then enter Confirm Password.

    NoteYou will need to provide password that meet with Visualization Suite password policy. See Password policy and requirements for more information.
  8. Click Recover.

Results

You should now have access to the Visualization Suite application.
