Visualization Suite 5.1 Release Notes
What is new in Version 5.1
Crime Prediction and Threat Report
The probability of future events are shown on the map. HVS uses quantitative techniques to identify likely targets to prevent crime. The data is displayed through a heat map overlay on the HVS map. The darker red a grid segment is, the higher the probability of an event; meaning the higher the probability of a threat. The Crime tab gives further insight into the most at-risk sectors.
Heatmap for all Entities
All event data can now be displayed as a heatmap on the HVS map. This aggregates separate events to show the total number in an area, giving oversight of events by area more clearly than single event markers.
Address in Preview Panel
The preview panel of an entity on the HVS now also shows the physical address of the entity, instead of the coordinates.
Kastle Integration in UI
HVS now supports Kastle Systems video management systems.
Benchmarking for Scalability
To ensure HVS environments' scalability, additional testing has been done this release with larger numbers of devices and users.
Map Marker Tooltip
The markers on the map now have tooltips with the name of the entity when hovering over the marker.
Camera Status
We now show camera offline/online status on the camera list page, preview panel, and camera detail pages.
